Went to R Bar last night with my hubby for my birthday. Instant good vibes. It has that perfect “local bar but with a little ✨upgrade✨” energy. Great lighting, friendly people, and staff who treats you like you’ve been coming there for years. We ended up meeting lots of cool people including an interesting couple who just came from a live show, and a woman who’s been on an absolutely inspiring health journey… the kind of conversations you don’t plan for but walk away grateful for. The owner/bartender was super welcoming and kept offering us a variety of drinks to try, all of which were **chef’s kiss**. We didn’t eat but the food options looked delicious. Prices were fair, and the whole place just has this easy, comfortable flow. Had a great time, met some genuinely cool people, and even exchanged hugs as we headed out — the good kind, the “wow, tonight was really something” kind. Left thinking “yeah… we’re totally coming back here again.” ☺️

I absolutely love this bar , the owner is so kind and everyone is so kind. It’s like a little family for the lgbtq community and they welcome you with open arms !! The entertainment is amazing , their always supporting our drag queens and kings !! I got to experience a burlesque show and of course it was amazing . Always good time at Rbar

Went this past Friday. It was a little dark from the outside but we could see dance lights through the curtains. Went in was greeted by the security guard Matt. He was immensely kind and patient as I looked for ID. Came in and sat at a table instantly fell in love with the vibe and the other people there!! Dawn was our bar tender and the drinks were great! Dawn and I didn’t talk much but she had a glow in her eyes and I felt like she genuinely cared about me. Instantly felt welcome! Prices were on par with other bars I’ve been too! R bar had that high end feel mixed with family love. I had a good conversation with Matt the security guard after he had to ask a patron who was loudly banging on the bar to quiet down. I was really impressed with Matt’s attitude and is desire to see everyone have a good time while also making sure everyone was safe and happy. I went back to the table and danced with my friends and we left after a couple drinks and some karaoke songs. Will be back this Friday!! Thanks R Bar 🥰

We always have a wonderful experience at the R Bar. It's one of the few places in the michiana area where all kinds of people can come and have a good time and mingle with no drama. The drag shows are amazing. We are here tonight for the burlesque show. I do recommend crying hair too it is surprisingly good as well. Particularly the mushrooms and fried pickles. I see this little bar doing great things and will probably soon out grow their current space.

I love the r bar. I'm a little younger, but they have 13+ drag shows for teens which is epic. I came here with my mom a couple weeks ago and yesterday. A couple weeks ago, they were having a drag show and we were like the only people there, but they still have us a show. It was great!!! Atmosphere is amazing, *chefs kiss* and the food is great! I don't know what they put on those fries, but they are to die for! Overall great place to go for dinner, it's not really a just a bar. Drag queens and kings are super nice and friendly

If you are ever in the Notre Dame or surrounding areas, don’t miss out on this gem! We had never been but we will be back for sure! Owners Amy and Dawn made us feel like family as well as our initial bartender Dana. Wings, fries and all appetizers were the best flavor and so fresh. Met old time friend of owner and again Lisa made us feel like family. This my friends is how customer service should be and they cover every inch of customer service. Came back Saturday and so clean and inviting again! Great show with very friendly entertainers! Miss them already and wish Columbus Ohio bars were always like this engaging with their customers! Thanks again!!

I normally don't write reviews, but I am a man of my word and told Amy I would. I went here strictly off of the reviews because to me word of mouth means a lot. I was the first one there, had a good conversation with Dawn the bartender and she explained everything to me. Met a couple of customers who came in and had nothing but good things to say as well. Amy the / cook/ owner came out with a grand entrance, which I thought was great and gave her recommendation for the food of the night, which even after setting a couple of hours before I got to the hotel to eat it was fantastic. I talk to and met a few other customers and had nothing but a great time. When they say the food, service, atmosphere, and vide are unmatched, let me tell you I agree 100% and highly recommend this place to anyone who is just looking to relax and have a great time. I'm letting everyone that I know that has friends and family in the area to check this place out. I'll will be back to the area just to come here again. That thank you Dawn and Amy for the hospitality, great food, conversation and great time. If I lived in the area this would definitely be my go to place.

The experience was amazing. This is my first time coming out here . I love the owner Amy and dale he is so amazing. She’s so sweet and I felt so welcomed as soon as I came in here, I’m gonna start coming here from now on. It’s not ghetto. It’s just perfect.restrooms very clean they have food and don’t forget to speak to my beautiful princess Bella which is her dog she will always be there give her love .It’s nothing but good vibes in there and I’ll be coming here for now on it’s definitely a safe space to be and they have security thank god no drama . Good vibes , good drinks , and good people you will definitely have a great time and it’s diverse and we all were up dancing on the dance floor together they played Spanish music American music and ohh the dj is amazing and they also have. Karaoke and smoke that blows out as your singing so to just out it all together in one sentence come out have fun no drama just a good time .❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I can honestly say that I haven’t quite found a place that makes me feel at a home, safe, and comfortable like here. I moved from a big city and it’s the closest thing you can get. Great food, dancing and awesome vibe. I’m not one to leave a review but this place is review worthy. You will be remember and treated like family. 10 out of 10 recommend 😍
